Online Continuing Education
The OAC has an extensive online continuing education library geared towards the professional development of Opticians. The online library consists of courses offered in text format as well as courses offered in video format.
The OAC continuing education library is only available online. Members login to access the course, complete the test online, and print out their continuing education certificate for their records, and/or to send to their Provincial Regulatory College of Opticians, if required.
All online courses are submitted for accreditation by the appropriate accrediting groups, including the National Association of Canadian Optician Regulator (NACOR), the College of Opticians of Ontario (COO) and the Ordre des opticiens d’ordonnances du Quebec.
PLEASE NOTE: Access to the OAC online library is a benefit of membership with the OAC, therefore, the online library is only accessible to Optician Members of the Opticians Association of Canada.OAC members have access to an unlimited amount of online modules with their membership each year.

The online library consists of electronic module articles as well as video modules. New content is consistently being added to the online library for the benefit of our members.
OAC members receive unlimited online modules per year as a benefit of membership.
