In light of on-going developments with COVID-19 and after thoughtful discussions with their Board of Directors and partners, the Opticians Association of Canada, the Ontario Opticians Association and The Optical Group have decided to move their continuing education Fall events to a fully online, virtual experience.For only $35.00 +tax, you can participate in both Optical Summit and Specialty Symposium 2020, or simply choose one show if you wish. The Optical Summit will take place on Sunday, September 13, 2020 (9:30 AM - 3:45 PM EDT) and the Specialty Symposium on Sunday, October 18, 2020 (9:30 AM - 3:45 PM EDT). Each event will have 5 CE credits and are designed to help you meet your licensing requirements.
How to Register
Our online registration form will allow you to register to Optical Summit, Specialty Symposium or both shows for only $35.00 +tax . The maximum capacity for each show is 1,000 participants.

All presentations on the schedule will be submitted for accreditation review by the National Association of Canadian Optician Regulators (for Opticians in AB, BC, MB, NB, NL, NS, PE & SK), the Ordre des opticiens d’ordonnances du Québec, the College of Opticians of Ontario (for Opticians in Ontario) and the Canadian Association of Optometrists. How many credits/hours you earn for attending Optical Summit is determined by the presentations you attend, and the province you are licensed in. Credits/hours vary per province based on policies set by the Regulatory College in your province.
